With over 25 years of marketing and media experience, he joined Jim Doyle & Associates as a Senior Consultant, and now uses his expertise to generate results for television salespeople and their clients throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Jim Doyle & Associates, Phil Bernstein spent 15 years as an Account Executive for Clear Channel where he specialized in direct business – the art of sitting down with a business owner, figuring out what makes the company special, and designing an advertising campaign that delivers. Now he utilizes his “real world” sales experience to help small- and medium-sized businesses get results through television advertising. By his estimate, he has written more than 500 car dealer commercials and revenue generating spots for everything from window dealers to tattoo removal clinics. Clients love his ability to uncover business needs and create powerful marketing messages that bring immediate and long lasting results.
Before selling advertising, Phil spent eleven years marketing professional baseball, including nine seasons with the New York Mets.
Phil lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife, Michele. They have two sons. Ryan attends the University of Central Florida in Orlando and Tyler lives and works in Portland.
