Think about it; in a day and age when mediocrity is an accepted standard in
our business, many simply don’t aspire to achieve greatness in our field.
We do what we do, make a living, do it well (by today’s standards) and
we’re satisfied. We’re just good enough to have ‘job security’ but
that’s about it.
Take a moment. Look around your office at others who do what you do for a living.
You’ll probably be able to point out some who are barely holding on,
hoping their list will magically get better so they won’t be fired.

like a rose. Always at or near the top in sales, his or her clients love them
and listen to them and their closure rates are unreal. Why is that?
You’re both selling, pretty much, the same product. Is it a matter of
personality? Look again at the underachievers. I’ll go out on a limb
and say that, from a pure personality perspective, the underachievers are as
personable or maybe even more so than those who excel! They have to be! Personality
is probably ALL they have going for them!
