Tom Conway

Tom Conway is a Senior Marketing Consultant with Jim Doyle & Associates.

His expertise is in growing revenue and getting results for businesses by developing and communicating a clear vision, strategy, and execution.

Tom constantly asks the question, “If we had to re-invent ourselves,
would we do it the same way?”  This innovative, out-of-the-box thinking consistently leads Tom to create actionable strategies that have helped companies prosper in an ever-changing media environment.

With over 30 years of leadership and media experience, primarily in
the broadcast sales arena, Tom’s career began in sales and management
at radio and television stations.  Since 1988, he has held executive positions with NRS Media, Media General Broadcast, Univision, and The Television Bureau of Advertising.  He developed “Sales Systems for Success,” which focuses on improving key processes, procedures, measurement systems, dash boards, and other tools to manage and measure results.  He has served on TVB’s Board of Directors, Sales Advisory Committee, and Ultra Marketing Committee.  He is also a former Executive Board member of The Retail Marketing Association.

Tom is an accomplished sales trainer and motivational speaker and has worked with hundreds of sales executives and advertisers to help them achieve their revenue goals.

With JDA, Tom’s focus is on helping local and regional businesses stand apart from the crowd and increase the impact of their advertising.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Tom is sad to say he’s “a true Brown’s fan.”  He attended Kent State University, majoring in Telecommunications, and has also been certified at the University of Virginia’s Darden School in their Financial Management program.

Tom lives in Atlanta with his wife, Vicky.  They have two grown children, Brittany and Ryan.  He enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with friends and family.
